Crafting furniture is essential to creating the perfect bed and breakfast. The higher scores you receive for each room, the more coins you make and the better chances you have for 5-star reviews. You will occasionally receive Guest requests that require higher scores in Comfort, Decorations, Hygiene, and Food, as well as Special Room requests for places like the Campsite and the Louge, so it is important that you learn new recipes to keep up with the demands.

How Furniture Works

Furniture is the key element for your resorts. When you book guests, they will have specific requirements for their rooms:

• Comfort: Comfort is determined by the Bedroom furniture you place in the rooms. The higher the level of the furniture, the higher the comfort score.
• Decoration: Every piece of furniture affects Decoration scores. You can increase Decoration scores by buying items at Took's Garbage.
• Hygiene: Hygiene is determined by the Bathroom furniture you place in the resorts. The higher the level of the Bathroom furniture, the higher the hygiene score.
• Food: Food is increased by what you cook in the Kitchen and placed in the Dining Rooms.
• Temperature/Heat: As you progress in the game, there will be a temperature requirement for the resorts. This will increase based on the number of boilers you have in the resorts.

On top of these basic needs, certain Guests will come in with Special Traits or extremely high scores in these five categories. These Requests can be met by building Special Rooms, or increasing the Comfort, Decorations, Hygiene, Food, or Heat.

Rooms Types

In all, there are 11 rooms you can build. However, access to these rooms depends on which Resort you are building out. For example, at the Dinky Shed in Timber Crossing, you can only build Bedrooms; at the Motel in The A24, you can only build Bedrooms and Bathrooms. On the other hand, at the Pinefall Cabins, you can build every available room.

Each room has a size requirement, furniture requirement and a minimum cost.

Bedroom Furniture

Here are the bedroom furniture options for your resorts. Bedroom furniture raises Comfort and Decoration scores.

Bathroom Furniture

Here are the bathroom furniture options for your resorts. Bathroom furniture raises Hygiene and Decoration scores.

Dining Room Furniture

Kitchen Furniture

Here are the kitchen furniture options for your resorts. Kitchen furniture decreases the Decoration scores of the rooms within its Area of Effect.

Special Rooms Furniture

Here are the Special Rooms furniture options for your resorts. Special Rooms furniture raises Decoration scores. These rooms include the Distillery, Campsite, Movie Theater, Lounge, Museum, and Arcade.

Management Furniture

Here are the management furniture options for your resorts. Management furniture allows you to assign Guests to rooms and manage the staff.

Utility Furniture

Here are the utility furniture options for your resorts. Utility furniture includes boilers and chests. Be careful when placing utility furniture; it will have a negative impact on your Decoration score.
