Luohu Commercial City, located on the border of Hong Kong opposite Shenzhen railway station, is a bustling market known for selling inexpensive counterfeit versions of designer clothing, electronics, and other goods. In addition to knockoff products, the market also offers traditional Chinese items such as silk scarves, jade carvings, and replica Qing Dynasty-style ornaments. Visitors can haggle for their desired items but should be prepared for sellers trying to get the highest price.
For the most part, Luohu is a bit of a rip off. Vendors give crazy high prices and expect you to bargain for hours. I found Ivy about 8 years ago in shop 2054, on 2nd floor and she is the opposite! Her prices are good, her quality is better than other shops and she gives way better prices than other vendors for best quality. (WeChat ID alelemingpin). I don't buy shoes, bags or watches from anyone else because her stuff is guaranteed.Rosie is the best tailor in Luohu. Not the cheapest but absolutely the best! She is on 3rd floor and I've attached her WeChat contact info.Head up to the fabric market on 5th floor to buy fabric from Suzy. Excellent quality and product knowledge. WeChat contact attached.For pearls, I have been buying from Kamy for many years. Unfortunately her English isn't great but her quality is! But there us one thing I will come here for, that's to visit my favorite crystal wholesale dealer on 2nd floor. The whole price and the quality are excellent. Other than that, I skip.

I've traveled to Luohu for many years and always wondered why it's not more of a wholesale hub for small business. It seems that change may be afoot in light of the strong policing of TM goods. I feel this will be a positive change to this commercial centre.I actually visited Luohu the first time thinking I could find products for my business. Found a great shop for leather on 4th floor, shop 4077. They had the best range and quality and very easy to deal with. You can contact Ivy on WeChat ID alelemingpin to check her range ahead of time.This shop is fantastic.Ignore people trying to lure you into shops, they are not very nice people.Also found Shop 4099 and bought usb towers, speakers, headphones and a drone for a very good price. Thousands of shops there, but all the others I went to didn't feel nice .. these people were really nice and spoke good english. Prices are about 40% less than same products online with quality you can trust.Karen in shop 4098 is a fantastic tailor. Hubby had 2 suits and 5 shirts made, all perfectly fitted and ready within the week. Great value and beautiful quality fabric.

For those who love shopping,this is the place.You can get everything from clothings to foot wear,souveniors and you name it.You can get everything at a reasonable price as long as you know how to haggle.This is an everyday question from tourist, 'where to get a fridge magnet when in Shenzhen' well obviously this is the place to get it,go to the second floor and you will find it there.Apart from shopping you can enjoy good food from restaurants inside the mall.Overall a good place to relax or do shopping but bit too noisy since this is a border area where tourists enter and leaving Shenzhen and so forth.If you have spare time,give Luo Hu a thought and come and visit this commercial city.

With the opening of a myriad of shopping malls in and around the nearby Dongmen area, this mall has lost its charm.The shops here don't have much to offer in terms of the latest either and expect a lot of transit crowd going in and out of Hong Kong.

Old style indoor multi-floor market of all kinds of products. Exciting for Western tourists on their first visit to Asia, who believe they get a bargain while actually paying more than in a decent shop elsewhere.Unpleasant atmosphere as all hawkers play all tricks to lure you into their shops. Full of touts who stick to visitors, promises to bring you to a shop with best prices and you end up paying double.This place is a relic of cheap poor China from the last century. Avoid it.

Huge variety of fake handbags, watches and many other products to shop. In addition there are mane jade, jewellery and accessory shops too. However, to shop here, you need to be thick skin and be bold to fan off all the haggling by the shopkeepers. They are very persistent, but other than that, you could get yourself some nice items at good prices if yup bargain hard and right. Certainly a nice shopping centre to visit and experience in Luohu.
